In June of 2016 I loaded my 4runner with bisqueware and drove east for 2000 miles to Gresham, Wisconsin to meet and fire with Simon Levin. It was essentially my interview for the apprenticeship, which he later offered to me and I have since begun.

This firing was headed up by then senior apprentice, Liz Vuckelich. We fired for 75 hours with an 8 hour downfire.
