Porcelaneous stoneware reduced heavily to bring out this black and vaporous color palette. The layers of melted ash on the front have a rainbow's worth of color.
I love the throwing lines in this pot. It was the only on of the batch that I made this way, inspired by a jug in my collection made by Harry & Meredith Kundhart of 28A Clay.
