These new winged bowls are some of my favorite pots from the firing. Their forms and silhouettes are strong. They capture the stone-like sculptural feeling I have been after during this making cycle.
Woodfired in the Simon's Rock Train Kiln for 48 hours using 2 cords of split Ash wood and mixed hardwood flooring cutoff lathe.
