A stout, slightly English feeling pitcher. One of the few pots of mine from this firing made from purely stoneware.
I divided the space to make room for both the fire's decoration and for my own. Moments of blue ash on the handle and rim give way to yellow-amber ash, all speckled with white granules of silica sand. The raw clay transitions from red-orange to a dark maroon.
Lined with a stoney matte tan glaze that mingled quite nicely with the ash deposited inside the lip.
