Campin' Mug 10
15 fl. oz.
I am so excited by this entire batch of Campin' Mugs.
The idea for these mugs began on a camping trip in Montana. They are my answer to the classic enamel camping mug. The one that you've burned your hands on one hundred times while brewing your coffee in the backcountry. With the iconic straight walls and flared lip.
This batch is made with my woodfire porcelain clay body. They are all impressed with a rope to create the rhythmic diagonal texture that the ash loves to play with.
This one has a few energetic iron brush strokes that have been lightly obscured by the ash impingement and a handle that is slightly thinner than its brothers. So many colors in this ash that it is hard to keep track. Speckled with silica sand stars to top it all off.
Lined with a stony matte.
