Campin' Mug 6
13 fl. oz.
I am so excited by this entire batch of Campin' Mugs.
The idea for these mugs began on a camping trip in Montana. They are my answer to the classic enamel camping mug. The one that you've burned your hands on one hundred times while brewing your coffee in the backcountry. With the iconic straight walls and flared lip.
This batch is made with my woodfire porcelain clay body. They are all impressed with a rope to create the rhythmic diagonal texture that the ash loves to play with.
One of the lucky few that was blessed with some pink tones in the ash. Can't forget the blues, greens, yellows, and ambers, though. Daffodil motif in iron and rutile.
Lined with a stony matte.
