Campin' Mug 2
14 fl. oz.
I am so excited by this entire batch of Campin' Mugs.
The idea for these mugs began on a camping trip in Montana. They are my answer to the classic enamel camping mug. The one that you've burned your hands on one hundred times while brewing your coffee in the backcountry. With the iconic straight walls and flared lip.
This batch is made with my woodfire porcelain clay body. They are all impressed with a rope to create the rhythmic diagonal texture that the ash loves to play with.
Slightly tapered walls and a single finger handle. This mug is my favorite. The high contrast of the daffodil design on the bright white background is just so striking. Lots of dark coal action on the opposite side.
Lined with a stony matte.
